From lively beach clubs to secluded, quiet spots, here are some of Albania's best beaches.
1. Ksamil Beach
This beach is famous for its turquoise waters and silky white sands, located near the pretty village of Ksamil. It falls within Butrint National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site with extremely rare biodiversity. A main beach club in Ksamil, Albania is Principotes which basically makes you feel as if you just stepped into Tulum while being in Europe.
Island Hopping: Take out a kayak or join a boat tour to visit the various islets close by where you can soak up some sun and snorkel through the crystal-clear waters.
Dining out: Fresh seafood at restaurants along the beach. Try grilled fish or pasta with local wine. The must-have!

Tips: Visit in late spring or early autumn for a more laid-back atmosphere. And take a stroll through the village for authentic local shops and eateries.

Accessible from Himara, Jale Beach combines crystal-clear waters with a lively social crowd, so it's always fun for locals and visitors.
Beach Sports: Catch a beach volleyball game or sit back and enjoy a cocktail at one of the beach bars.
Tip: Take your snacks and other equipment to camp since some are costly. Weekdays are comparatively quiet if you want people around less.
4. Himara Beach
This is a beach full of beauty, yet intermingled with local traditions as those cafes and taverns on the side create a soothing and cozy atmosphere.
Find Your Way Through the Town: Walk through those beautiful streets lined with shopping areas from the locals and great historical sites.

5. Saranda Beach
As the most developed beaches, there is so much to enjoy in this beach town. From cute dining places to the most stunning beachfront hotels and resorts. My favorite hotel in Saranda was the Andon Lapa Spa & Hotel in Saranda Beach.
Promenade Walks: Stroll up and down the promenade with cafes, restaurants, and bars at the end of the promenade and catch the stunning sunsets.
Tips: Summer time around the beaches gets very crowded so make sure to book your hotel/Airbnb ahead of time to find the best deals and availability because most are small boutique stays. For the best accommodation in albania from my stays - Check out this guide

All serenity: Gjipe Beach lies between steep cliffs. It is easily accessed either via a scenic hike or simply by boat.
Hiking: The hike itself is pretty beautiful along with coastal views that can be worth all the effort taken
Relaxing: This place is very peaceful; there are not many people here; hence, this will be a great spot if you are looking for something really quiet.
